Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team at our Saint John, New Brunswick headquarters. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal and commercial advice to our business on a wide range of issues, including risk management, transactions, and contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice to our business on a variety of matters, including risk management, transactions, and contracts.
  • Contribute to the development of our company's legal strategy and policies.
  • Collaborate with our business teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external counsel and other stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 8+ years of corporate/commercial legal experience acquired at a reputable law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
