About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager to oversee and manage our cloud infrastructure delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud operations, infrastructure management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud infrastructure engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure engineering team, ensuring timely and effective completion of projects and tasks.
  • Project Management
    • Plan, execute, and oversee cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) related to cloud services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure management, and team leadership, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing cloud environments effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku) and cloud management tools.
  • Strong expertise in cloud security, networking, and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Oversee, track, and delegate CloudOps projects, and conduct daily stand-up meetings.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of DNS and security certificates, and their use in managing websites and securing services.
