About the Role:

As a member of the Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for financial modeling, planning, and treasury activities. You will interact with various internal departments, including the executive team, accounting, pricing, project management, business units, and international contacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategic planning for mergers and acquisitions, new product development, and financial modeling.
  • Analyze and optimize treasury activities, maintaining business relationships with banking partners.
  • Contribute to securitization facilities and capital markets-related activities.
  • Develop annual budgets, optimize financial models for business units, and track budgets throughout the year.
  • Perform profitability analyses, providing pricing recommendations to management.
  • Produce reports, clearly communicating results and variances to management.
  • Monitor key economic indicators to optimize asset and liability management.
  • Assist with other duties related to the role and its evolution.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA or CFA designation considered an asset.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French to serve internal clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Advanced technical skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to develop financial models and databases.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
  • Familiarity with the financial institution model.
  • Strategic thinking and critical analysis skills.
  • Leadership abilities and teamwork orientation.
