The estimated annual salary for this position is between $57,000 and $69,000, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.
  • Lead and motivate the accounting team to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
  • Ensure regular communication with employees to create awareness of business objectives, communicate expectations, and recognize performance.
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees.
  • Provide excellent leadership, fostering teamwork and encouraging work-life balance.
  • Participate in the employee performance appraisal process, providing feedback as needed.
  • Ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support the peer review process.

Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
