Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet and Equipment Manager to join our team at Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely service of our fleet of vehicles and equipment, enabling us to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for the maintenance and repair of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
  • Collaborate with our field staff and management team to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including purchase orders and repair records.
  • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance costs are within budget and aligned with company financial goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of fleet realignment strategies to optimize fleet performance and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Licensed mechanic with experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified mechanic with experience in diagnosis and repair of vehicles and equipment.
  • Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions.
  • Experience with various vehicles and equipment used by our company.

  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including percentages, area, volume, and metric grams.

Required License or Certification:

  • Licensed mechanic with experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair.
