Job Summary:

As a Fleet and Equipment Manager at Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely service to our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment
• Collaborate with field staff and management to ensure proper use and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize fleet performance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

• Licensed mechanic with experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair
• Valid driver's license
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education and/or Experience:

• Certified mechanic with experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair

Language Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as health and safety regulations and equipment operating instructions
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, volume, and metric grams

Required License or Certification:

• Mechanic - Heavy equipment or automotive
