Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at North Fleetwood Montessori School. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and fostering their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:

To be successful as an Early Childhood Educator, you should have:

  • An Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • A criminal record check.
  • A medical exam.
  • Reliability.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
