The Lead Early Childhood Educator is a key member of our team at Universal Kidz Montessori Childcare, responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator who can lead our childcare program and ensure that children receive a high-quality education. As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that align with our educational philosophy;
  • Leading activities and engaging with children to promote their learning and development;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff members;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a childcare setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and holidays. Our childcare centre also offers free parking and meal breaks.
