Job Title: Physiotherapist - Full Time or Part Time

Job Summary:

Nation Health Centre is seeking a part-time or full-time Physiotherapist to provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and care to patients residing in the Nation community and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage the assessment and treatment for restoring movement/function and pain management
  • Develop personalized exercise programs to develop and restore range of motion, strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance
  • Administer electrotherapy, prescribe and educate clients on the utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices, and other equipment
  • Care coordination and collaboration with other professionals
  • Client care planning, charting, care conferences, discharge, and transition planning
  • Oversee and coordinate the roles and functions of Physiotherapy Support Personnel, in conjunction with the broader care team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registration with College of Physiotherapy of Ontario
  • CPR certification
  • ADP certified or willingness to become certified preferred
  • Strong physical assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A commitment to best practices, quality, and client-centered care
  • 2-3 years clinical practice experience preferred
  • Experience with neuro and vestibular rehabilitation an asset
  • Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset
