Job Description

This is a retail store leadership position with Alberta LTD O/A MAC'S CONVENIENCE STORE/ CIRCLE K. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and supervise a team of sales workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Management: Assign tasks to sales workers, ensuring they are adequately trained and equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and customer demand.
  • Cash Handling: Authorize payments by cheque, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate change is provided.
  • Merchandise Returns: Authorize the return of merchandise, following company policies and procedures.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role is preferred.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week. French is not required for this job but English is the primary language used for work.

    Salary Estimate: $35,000 - $50,000 per year,
    depending on qualifications and location.
