About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled API Integration Specialist to join our Delivery Integration team at Plusgrade Inc. As an API Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining integrations to our partners, working closely with the team to configure, customize, and deploy new solutions on their behalf.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in technical integration planning and pre-sales discussions with loyalty program partners and application developers to analyze integration and web service requirements.
  2. Develop integration solutions based on Loyalty Program Requirements.
  3. Implement new integrations for our Loyalty Program Partners by developing and configuring Points' platforms.
  4. Gather requirements by working directly with our Loyalty Program Partners & Internal Stakeholders.
  5. Ensure the solutions we deploy are of the highest quality.
  6. Effectively communicate, across many channels, your progress with your team & stakeholders.
  7. Troubleshoot code and configuration issues in all managed environments (test and production).
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Web Services standards, APIs and technologies (eg: XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON etc.)
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and UAT management
  • Strong experience in API system monitoring such as Splunk
  • Experience in UML diagramming skills (activity diagrams, sequence diagram etc.)
  • Strong experience in industry standard SSO flows such as OAuth
  • Basic knowledge in Javascript
