Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team at Nugget. This is a 6-month contract with possible extensions. The ideal candidate will have experience in building APIs and integrating enterprise tools within ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with our team to scope and design solutions that meet our business needs.
  2. Design and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, and configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic to support our business operations.
  3. Contribute to QA Strategy: Develop a QA strategy that includes solutions for unit, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure the quality of our ServiceNow implementation.
  4. Collaborate with Platform Team: Work with our platform team to design a code integration/test/deployment pipeline that supports our ServiceNow development process.
  5. Support ServiceNow Upgrades: Assist with ServiceNow version upgrades, including installation, testing, and deployment of new applications.
  6. Offer Technical Solutions: Provide technical solutions to address complex business requirements and identify the best options for implementation.
  7. Create Documentation: Develop documentation to support a sustainable development practice and ensure that our knowledge is shared across the team.
  8. Analyze and Troubleshoot: Analyze, troubleshoot, and remedy identified system issues to ensure the stability and performance of our ServiceNow implementation.
Requirements
  1. Postgraduate Education: A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  2. Web Application Experience: 3+ years of experience working with web application technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST.
  3. ServiceNow Experience: 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, and administration.
  4. ServiceNow Development Experience: Experience developing applications on the ServiceNow platform and related technology, including App Creator, Studio, ES5/ECMAScript, and related client and server APIs.
  5. Strong Fundamentals: A strong grounding in the fundamentals of web application development, including identity and security.
  6. Structured Data Experience: Experience working with structured data, schema, and databases.
  7. Integration Experience: Experience integrating internal and external applications, including SaaS-based applications.
  8. Attention to Detail: Superior attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Business Acumen: Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform.
