As an API Integration Developer, your primary responsibility will be to leverage your expertise in IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower to create, manage, and deploy APIs. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional API solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs using IBM API Connect.
  • Utilize YAML and Swagger files for API documentation and specification.
  • Integrate with various OAuth providers to secure API access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both production and non-production environments.
  • Develop MPGs (Message Processing Graphs) and WSPs (Web Service Proxies) in IBM DataPower.
  • Implement AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) policies within DataPower.
  • Leverage deployment tools such as Ansible and Artifactory to automate API deployments.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for API integration.
Qualifications:
  • 7-8 years of experience in API development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and related protocols.
  • Proficiency in IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower.
  • Experience with OAuth authentication mechanisms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of deployment tools such as Ansible and Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and practices.
