About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled API Integration Specialist to join our Delivery Integration team at Points. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining integrations with our partners, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in technical integration planning and pre-sales discussions with partners and application developers to analyze integration and web service requirements.
  • Develop integration solutions based on partner requirements.
  • Implement new integrations for our partners by developing and configuring Points' platforms.
  • Gather requirements by working directly with our partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the solutions we deploy are of the highest quality.
  • Effectively communicate progress with your team and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot code and configuration issues in all managed environments (test and production).
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Web Services standards, APIs, and technologies (e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and UAT management.
  • Strong experience in API system monitoring, such as Splunk.
  • Experience in UML diagramming skills (activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.).
  • Strong experience in industry-standard SSO flows, such as OAuth.
  • Basic knowledge in JavaScript.
