Aecon's Cloud Engineer Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Aecon, a Canadian leader in infrastructure development. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting Aecon's system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, recommend, and implement capacity, growth, and architectural changes for Aecon's software, network, database, and application landscape.
- Participate in software development lifecycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Lead technical efforts to improve, design, build, and deploy AWS applications, adhering to company security and compliance standards.
- Review test plans, monitor testing process, and develop system test cases to ensure business results are adequately tested.
- Document system modifications and develop system manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires 5-7 years of relevant technical and work experience.
- Excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, AWS solutions architect certification, and experience with DevOps practices and tools.
