Job Title: Home Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Troy Fraser. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide personal care and support to clients
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook

Work Environment: Our Home Support Workers work in the clients' homes, providing one-on-one support and care. This role requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
