Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Troy Fraser. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assist with laundry and linen management
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in clients' homes, providing support and care in a variety of settings. You will be required to travel to different locations and work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
