Executive Sushi Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at MOON BENTO SUSHI. As an Executive Sushi Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff.
This role involves instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food. You will also be required to prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets. Additionally, you will supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
You will play a key role in planning menus and ensuring that food meets quality standards. Your training expertise will be essential in teaching staff the preparation, cooking, and handling of food. As a leader, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience. The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week and have a permanent employment contract. The working language is English.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years or more of experience in a similar role and possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. You will work in various locations and be physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
