**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled payables coordinator to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process and providing support to a project team in the creation of jobs and purchase orders.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**

• Manage the accounts payable process from start to finish, including matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and packing slips.

• Coordinate with project team and/or suppliers to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with necessary approvals.

• Set up new vendor accounts and maintain existing ones.

• Process requests to create and close projects in the project management and ERP systems.

• Create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) as requested by project teams.

• Provide ad hoc support to project teams and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable.

• Experience working with accounting software (QuickBooks and/or NetSuite preferred).

• Strong understanding of project management processes.
