Join Our Team of Water Experts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Water and Wastewater Treatment team in Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business development, project capture planning, and proposal writing for water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support our Water Practice Business Development group to expand our water infrastructure market share in Ontario.
  • Work directly with senior engineers and technical teams to lead the execution of various ongoing projects.
  • Manage projects with direct communication with clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed GHD's internal and external client quality objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer Designation.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in multi-discipline water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Proven track record in business development, project capture planning, and proposal writing.
  • Proven experience in technical and business leadership and management of water and wastewater treatment projects and project teams through the study, design, and construction phases.
  • In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction methods, logistics, equipment, and methodology selection.
  • Familiar with cost estimating and scheduling related to treatment infrastructure.
  • Experience in risk management analysis, evaluation, and presentation to the client.
  • Experience in preparation of detailed design reports and construction reporting.
  • Liaise with other disciplines, professionals, clients, and third parties as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
