Job Title: Information Technology Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategic business and technology programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services, dealer networks, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full range of the Project Management Lifecycle: discovery, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
  • Define, document and manage project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying risks & gaps impacting target milestones.
  • Leverage steering and executive committees for decision-making, change management, and communications.
  • Create and facilitate a collaborative and positive project team environment through applying proven soft-skills.
  • Use appropriate project management tools and techniques to track project performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify factors capable of minimizing success of a project.
  • Interview and coordinate the recruitment and orientation of project personnel.
  • Establish and maintain positive trust relationship with third party contractors and vendors.
  • Produce accurate reports of project status and trajectory and present to management.
  • Organize meetings to discuss and review project operational strategies.
  • Oversee the allocation of funds, as well as availability of resources required for a project.
  • Build & implement change management plan to educate and train users to operate new systems or equipment to ensure smooth transition from old technological systems to new ones.
  • Evaluate the progress of project to determine the need for adjustment in strategy.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology.
  • ~5+ years of program/project management experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • ~ Experience to create and deliver quality presentations utilizing PowerPoint to project and senior leader stakeholders.
  • ~ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and Visio.
  • ~ Ability to summarize project results and explain complex issues in presentation format.
  • ~ Excellent planning and time management skills.
