About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at PHSA. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the execution of healthcare projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate projects efficiently, achieving goals and meeting timelines
  • Provide administrative support to project teams and project managers, including meeting preparation, calendar management, and documentation management
  • Prepare minutes, agendas, logistics, project deliverables, and other documentation
  • Manage project budgets, invoicing, and associated financial documents
  • Engage with stakeholders, including project team members, vendors, and clients
  • Identify, collect, and analyze project information, providing input and recommendations to project teams
  • Disseminate project information to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health or Social Sciences, or Business Administration, plus 2-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Policy Analyst role in a health, social services, government, or community organization
  • High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in complex environments with ambiguity
  • High level of resourcefulness and ability to work cohesively in a team
  • Strong understanding of practical project management skills
  • Qualities including creativity, innovation, sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a demanding and dynamic environment, effective negotiation, conflict management, and consensus-building skills, excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019)
