Intensive Behavioural Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Intensive Behavioural Intervention Specialist to join our team at Kinark Child and Family Services.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with individuals who require intensive behavioural intervention programs. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering such programs and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- To deliver intensive behavioural intervention programs to clients as per their individualized treatment plans.
- To conduct home visits and work collaboratively with family members to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
- To maintain accurate records of client progress and provide regular feedback to management.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A community college diploma or university degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, autism and behaviour science, early childhood education, child and youth worker).
- Experience in delivering intensive behavioural intervention programs or early childhood education.
- A valid Ontario driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to obtain automobile insurance with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
- Candidates bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Working ConditionsThis is a full-time position that requires travel within the York and/or Simcoe area. Some evening/weekend work may be required.
