About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at SMS Motors. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and hiring and training new staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.

Assign Sales Workers to Duties

Assign sales workers to duties, taking into account their skills and experience, to ensure that the sales team is working efficiently and effectively.

Hire and Train Staff

Hire and train new staff members, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.

Authorize Payments and Orders

Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise, ensuring that the sales team has the resources they need to meet their sales targets.

Prepare Reports

Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.

Resolve Issues

Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, ensuring that the sales team is able to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales role.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude.
