Gravenhurst Pizza Hut is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team and ensure exceptional customer service and quality food. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining records, and ensuring a fast-paced environment.


Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced, noisy, and wet/damp environment.


Work Setting: This position is located in a food service establishment.


Key Responsibilities:

Establish Methods: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation.


Supervise Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.


Estimate Ingredients: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.


Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.


Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.


Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.


Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and supervise staff accordingly.


Supervision: Supervise 3-4 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.


Security and Safety: This position requires a bondable candidate.


Transportation: Own transportation is required for this position.


Work Conditions: The work environment is fast-paced with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.


Personal Suitability: We require a client-focused, efficient, and flexible team player.


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant environment.
