Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wingham Pizza Hut. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and maintain work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately trained and prepared to meet the demands of our busy kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, wet/damp, and hot work environments.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
