Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Transitions Care, Inc. as a Nursing Care Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes and in visiting care settings. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth operation of patient care services.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and in wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly.
  • Collect specimens and administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train for the role.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with a temporary duration. The working hours are 30 to 40 hours per week, and the language of work is English.
