We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our sport governing agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies and procedures to implement programs, managing daily operations, and preparing budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals
- Manage the daily operations of the agency, including staff supervision and budget management
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses
- Arrange for sponsorships and negotiate business contracts
- Act as spokesperson for the agency and negotiate collective agreements
- Mediate labour disputes and grievances
- 5+ years of experience in a senior executive role in the sports industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
