Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled leader to oversee our delivery teams and serve as the primary contact for stakeholders. As a leader at FCT, you'll need to have a strong technical background and knowledge delivering in cloud-native development, DevOps, and .NET technologies.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with exceptional leadership and project management skills to deliver high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for championing product-centric delivery, collaborating globally, technical leadership, transparent communication, fostering team alignment, strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, embracing cloud-native technologies, modernizing platforms, promoting innovation, customer-centric culture, vendor partnership, team leadership and development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of software products, transitioning our organization from a project-based mindset to a dynamic, product-focused approach.
  2. Partner with in-house and offshore development teams to craft solution designs, provide accurate development estimates, enforce compliance with standards, and ensure high-quality implementations.
  3. Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to identify optimal technical solutions, define implementation methods, and set realistic schedules to ensure timely product launches.
  4. Manage initiative updates, communicating progress, risks, and key decisions effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity across teams.
  5. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring delivery teams operate cohesively with shared objectives and priorities.
  6. Evaluate costs, resources, and system impacts for software releases while proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation plans for seamless execution.
  7. Coordinate efforts across engineering teams, product managers, UX designers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver impactful, user-centric solutions.
  8. Drive adoption of cutting-edge cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure DevOps.
  9. Define and execute strategies to minimize technical debt and lead the transition from legacy systems to modern, efficient technology platforms.
  10. Stay ahead of technology trends, advocating for and implementing emerging tools and practices to enhance team capabilities.
  11. Instill a strong customer-first mindset within delivery teams, fostering a culture of user-centered design and deepening business relationships.
  12. Oversee external vendor contributions, ensuring compliance with organizational process standards and high-quality delivery outcomes.
  13. Lead a high-performing team of software and QA engineers, providing mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and supporting individual career growth.
  14. Act as the primary point of contact for product stakeholders, delivering regular updates and ensuring alignment on product progress and priorities.
