Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements, including compilation and review engagements
- Lead and perform audit engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and review corporate, trust, and personal tax returns, staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
- Supervise engagements and related tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Identify and resolve engagement issues, applying analytical and problem-solving skills
- Support year-end planning, ensuring seamless transitions and accurate financial reporting
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering growth and development within the team
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships, both internally and with clients
- Support practice and professional development initiatives, staying current with industry trends and best practices
- Participate in business development initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of the firm
- CPA designation or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience working in public practice accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Interest in managing and developing others, with a focus on team growth and success
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
