We are seeking a client-focused Senior Tax Consultant to become a vital part of our tax team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional aiming to advance their career within a dynamic and growth-oriented public accounting setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your 5-7 years of post-CPA experience in a public accounting firm, specializing in tax planning and advisory services.
  • Lead and review tax planning and preparation for individuals, estates, trusts, and small businesses, focusing on an owned-managed client base.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex tax matters, applying your expertise to identify and resolve various tax issues for both internal and external clients.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment with innovative accountants.
  • Enhance the skills of team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and providing challenging work opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.
  • Utilize tools such as Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office, while remaining open to learning new technologies.
  • Exhibit a strong desire for continuous learning and apply your technical knowledge to propose effective solutions.

In this role, you will experience ongoing growth and challenges while working under the guidance of a Partner to lead and execute client engagements. You will also be responsible for providing direction and coaching to junior team members.

This is a permanent full-time position within our tax team. RLB's mission is to be an advisory firm recognized for empowering its people and clients while contributing to stronger communities.
