Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at 0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc. As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success and growth of our company by leading and directing the overall delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and direction to the branch team, ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Financial Performance: Support the Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives, including sales growth, revenue increase, and cost reduction.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives, ensuring that all operations are aligned with company policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management: Responsible for the performance management of direct staff, including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable.
  • Training and Development: Motivate, coach, and train personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Culture and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
  • Skills: Strong motivational and leadership skills, superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
