**Reports to**:Senior Regional Marketing Manager
**Type of position**:Full-time, Contract (6 months )

**The Opportunity**
The Regional Marketing Supervisor is a 6 month contract opportunity based in Dorval. Working closely with the other Quebec Regional Marketing Supervisor, Eastern Communications Manager, Quebec Field Service Directors and external agencies, the Supervisor will be responsible for leading the execution and facilitation of all designated marketing programs in Quebec

**Principal Accountabilities**
In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Supervision of Agency execution of national creative adaptation/regional calendar programs as assigned. Also liaison with Senior Eastern Canada Marketing Manager, Eastern Communications Manager and the other Quebec Marketing Supervisor. Includes collaboration with National Marketing and Advertising teams plus cross functional team members.
- Develop mass media campaigns from the brief development to the execution and post-analysis evaluation with the Consumer and Business Insight team.
- Support and develop regional social marketing and sales building programs
- Supervision of Agency execution of Franchise Marketing Support
- Support and develop plans to address Priority Local Markets (as outlined with Field Service Manager)
- Budget administration
- Support for overall system communications
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders; internal and external (to be outlined with the Regional and National Marketing Plans’ objectives)
- Ensure the proper use of the McDonald’s trademarks, logos, producer’s licenses, and makes sure all advertising materials have legal and creative approval.
- Supports senior regional marketing manager in the identification of market opportunities and the development and execution of any subsequent programs
- Keeps the senior regional marketing manager abreast of any developments, issues or challenges in the market, with owner/operators or with field service or Ops staff.

**Qualifications**:

- _ Education: _Diploma in Marketing, Administration or a related discipline
- _ Experience: _5-7 years of experience managing mass media campaign management combined with a broad understanding of the principles and practices of the marketing industry and the advertising/creative development process Experience and/or interest in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant Industry) an asset
- _ Communication and interpersonal skills: _Excellent communication and presentation and skills in French and in English
- _ Collaboration skills: _Ability to develop and strengthen productive partnerships with numerous stakeholders to reach business objectives
- _ Flexibility_: Comfortable working in a face-paced, agile environment independently and collaboratively
- _ Project management skills:_ _organized, resourceful with the ability to_ manage many initiatives at the same time

**_ Bilingualism (French, English)_**_ - For this position, when an employee is based in Montreal, French will be the primary language of business. In addition to the knowledge of French, the position of _**_Regional Marketing Supervisor_**_ requires strong oral and written English skills._
