Job Summary:
The Field Service Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Field Service Department, managing a team of technicians and installers to ensure seamless delivery of wireless communication solutions to customers. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects and service assignments to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Act as liaison between BearCom technicians and end customers to resolve issues and provide support
- Collaborate with customers to prepare quotes, bids, and schedules for installation and repair tasks
- Organize and schedule upcoming field work to optimize resource allocation
- Provide technical support and guidance to field service technicians and installers
- Conduct site visits to evaluate system performance and diagnose issues
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair wireless communication equipment problems in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide hands-on oversight of communications equipment and peripheral hardware installation
- Develop and implement training programs for field service technicians and installers
- Assist with other projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management
