Job Overview

The Field Supervisor will play a critical role in managing field personnel and overseeing the execution of inspection projects. Reporting to the Fulfillment Manager, this individual will be responsible for supervising field staff, ensuring safe and successful project execution, and maintaining compliance with training plans and qualification requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resources (people and equipment) and workload balancing to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Review expenses and timesheets of operators, as well as operational costs of projects, to optimize resource allocation.
  • Act as liaison between project managers and field teams, resolving issues from initiation to resolution.
  • Attend project meetings, review project plans, and implement strategies to minimize risk and maximize first-run success rates.
  • Provide operational support to internal departments and external customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Travel to client sites to assist with project preparation and execution, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to ensure company standards are met, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Be on-call for support, providing timely assistance to ensure project continuity.
Requirements
  • Project management skills, with experience in resource allocation and workload balancing.
  • Resource management experience, with a focus on people and equipment management.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a field setting, with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read pipeline maps and feature lists, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with people and asset/equipment management, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Adaptability to changes in scope, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, with experience in data management and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the inline inspection industry, specifically with MFL technologies.
  • Prior experience with robotic technologies, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Experience with understanding and creating safety regulations, such as OSHA.
  • Experience working remotely or in a field setting, with management of respective teams.
