Compensation Analyst, Total Rewards

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Analyst, Total Rewards to join our team at True North HR Consulting. As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you will play a critical role in assisting with the delivery of total rewards services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Compensation Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of client compensation and benefits programs, including benchmarking against industry standards.
- Compensation Structure Development: Support the development of compensation structures, pay bands, and incentive programs under the guidance of our Consultant, Total Rewards.
- Benefits Administration: Aid in advising clients on the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Recognition and Reward Programs: Collaborate with our Consultant to help implement recognition and reward programs designed to foster employee engagement and retention.
- Client Deliverables: Assist in preparing client deliverables, including presentations, reports, and communication materials.
- Research and Analysis: Stay updated on basic trends in total rewards and assist in research to support client projects.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role, with a solid understanding of Total Rewards.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an HR consulting environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with virtual collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assist with client projects efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to learn and grow.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to professional growth and client service.
- Some experience with pay equity, compensation principles, practices, and trends, including executive compensation would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with LTIP, STIP, executive compensation and job architecture.
- A "Do What it Takes" attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure and uphold integrity and confidentiality.
- Candidates must have the necessary resources to effectively work from home.
