About the Opportunity

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting and costing for the plastics business unit, as well as managing the corporate shared service functions for the company. This is an excellent opportunity to support the finance team leadership and oversee the daily operations of the entire plastics business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of the day-to-day financial activities and streamlining of day-to-day financial processes.
  • Hands-on management of the month-end close process, tax filing and remittance, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Prepare monthly financial analysis of budget vs actuals.
  • Forecast and manage Cash flows.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Coordinate and summarize monthly inventory counts and investigate variances.
  • Prepare Year-end schedules to support the annual audit and tax returns.
  • Coordinate the preparation of company and department budgets and forecasts.
  • Supervise Payroll, AR and AP function.
  • Track and report on Capital spendings.
  • Provide financial and accounting support to operational areas of the company.
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, internal process review and control, special projects and other duties as assigned.
About You

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager with a CPA designation and at least 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. You should have experience in Inventory count investigation and analysis.
