Job Title: Distribution Agent

Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Distribution Agent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of sensitive and confidential media to all lines of business and regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribute, analyze, and organize various types of sensitive and confidential media based on business rules and service level agreements for multiple regions.
  • Practice and promote a high level of quality assurance in day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail on all items processed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with team members and key stakeholders through open communication, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with business knowledge and adapt to process changes with a proactive and flexible attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and leaders to ensure service levels are met and workflow is covered for all lines of business for each region on a daily basis.
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed on a daily basis and recorded accurately, including individual productivity tracking, incoming/outgoing job metrics, and team tasks.
  • Operate and perform maintenance on digital and mechanical equipment related to document and media processing, including postage, inserting, and envelope processing machines, scanners, and associated software, printers, and presses.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of relevant work experience in a customer-focused, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to lift or move items up to 22kg.
  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • High attention to detail and familiarity with quality assurance measures.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Kofax Capture, Kofax Total Agility, SharePoint, and Directories.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
