Job Title: Team Lead Talent Acquisition

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Talent Acquisition to join our team at NorQuest College. As a key member of our People & Culture department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing industry-leading recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to implement development plans and grow competencies.
  • Provide oversight and effective management of workloads and priorities of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to provide advice and support on talent acquisition strategies and activities.
  • Manage and support all recruitment activities within the recruitment cycle.
  • Identify and network with Indigenous agencies and organizations across Alberta.
  • Provide guidance to leaders and Talent Acquisition team members on best practices, internal processes, and legislative requirements.
  • Build and deliver sustainable processes that leverage technology to maintain talent pipelines.
  • Lead and action programs and initiatives to elevate employer brand and the employer value proposition.
  • Identify ways to improve processes and collaborate with colleagues to resolve process gaps or issues.
  • Undertake process improvement initiatives and talent management projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g. human resources, management, business, commerce).
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation (strongly desired).
  • Working towards or has obtained a Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CPHR) designation.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience providing proactive full cycle recruiting support.
  • At least 2 years' experience leading a team of recruitment professionals.
  • Strong experience working within Talent Acquisition Systems and Human Resources Information Systems (e.g. Acuity, Success Factors, People Soft).
  • Experience developing and implementing initiatives to enhance Talent Acquisition supports and services.
