Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

At Optima Living, we're committed to creating a welcoming work environment where our residents feel at home. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve this vision by leading the recruitment process for our frontline and service positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Human Resources team in the recruitment function, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Develop and execute recruitment plans, sourcing top talent for our communities.
  • Manage job postings, applications, and candidate communication, ensuring timely and effective hiring processes.
  • Collaborate with community partners and post-secondary schools to build relationships and attract candidates.
  • Organize and attend careers fairs to showcase our company culture and values.
  • Screen resumes, conduct prescreen calls, and prepare candidates for interviews.
  • Contribute to process improvements, analyzing recruitment data to identify trends and areas for optimization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) certification is an asset.
  • Advanced social media savvy knowledge and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite and LinkedIn.
