Key Responsibilities- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay informed of the latest trends and innovative sourcing strategies and platforms, recruiting techniques and trends to attract and compete for top talent.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage strong analytical skills to audit processes, assess trends, create reports, and tell the story with data to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop processes, best practices, and talent acquisition initiatives that drive business results.
- Research and Recommendations: Research and recommend solutions based on stakeholder feedback, market trends, new technology, best practices, and HR legislation to drive business growth.
- Training and Development: Create high-quality training, documentation, and communications to support team initiatives and drive business results.
- Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate appropriate external vendors, consultants, and partners, and manage relationships and deliverables to drive business results.
- Alignment and Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and the HR Leadership team to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
- Education and Experience: Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline; working towards relevant designation preferred. 5 years of progressive talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Professional Designations: Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) is an asset.
- Recruitment Experience: Experience developing corporate recruitment campaigns and strategies. Demonstrated experience in the utilization of key social recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed, and talent acquisition technologies.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze information and data and make recommendations and best practices.
- Talent Acquisition KPIs: Experience with talent acquisition KPIs and developing enterprise reports.
- Project Management: Results-oriented and with proven project management experience.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask, and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Demonstrated stakeholder and vendor management skills.
