About the Role

We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our Commercial Ventilation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, applying, and specifying proposals for Swegon North America products. This role requires strong collaboration skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for delivering 'best-in-class' solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Swegon RSM's and Rep's, mechanical consulting engineers, architects, and contractors to provide application engineering solutions for commercial HVAC systems.
  • Work seamlessly with internal and external key stakeholders to deliver comprehensive and high-level application engineering support.
  • Become a subject matter expert in integrated system design for air side/water side equipment.
  • Design or reverse engineer HVAC systems and control systems to provide high-level application engineering and sales support for energy-efficient commercial HVAC solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, building engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience within the HVAC field, specifically in hydronic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of psychrometrics and heat pump chillers.
  • Proficiency with Dedicated Outside Air Systems (DOAS) and HVAC Controls.
  • Strong analytical and calculation skills.
