**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Optimization Engineer to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving production processes, developing and teaching assembly techniques, improving manufacturing processes, resolving production-related problems, and promoting quality throughout production and related services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Carry out equipment improvement projects to support and facilitate production
  • Meet company standards for quantity and quality of work performed, executing all work-related tasks in a manner consistent with all company policies and procedures
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding workplace standards of behavior in the performance of tasks and assignments

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering physics, mechanical engineering, or automation
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft products
  • Mastery of statistical process control techniques and six sigma
  • Member of OIQ (an asset)
  • Experience in production process automation and optical manufacturing processes (an asset)
