Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Optimization Specialist to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and optimizing production processes to meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Performance Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows
  • SAP Performance Management
    • Manage and maintain SAP systems to ensure accurate and timely data reporting
    • Develop and implement reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users on SAP systems
  • Inventory Management
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
    • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
    • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify areas for improvement
  • Quality and Safety
    • Develop and implement quality and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with quality and safety teams to identify and implement process improvements
    • Monitor and analyze quality and safety metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements
    • Provide regular updates and reports to management on operational performance and progress
Requirements
  • Education
    • College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Production Management Technology, Industrial Process Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology: Automation and Control, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Industrial Maintenance Technology
  • Experience
    • 1-3 years of heavy manufacturing experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills, process-oriented
    • Strong analytical skills, research, problem-solving, and decision-making
    • Proficiency with various computer applications
    • Good written and verbal communication skills in both official languages
