Who We Are

KJA has been a Canadian pioneer in the elevator consulting industry since its inception in 1965, developing cutting-edge ride quality analysis tools, traffic measurement equipment, and software used by hundreds of international clients.

How You Can Contribute and Learn on the Job

You will collaborate with management companies and contractors to provide clients with solutions for their vertical transportation needs, including elevators and escalators. Experienced Senior Consultants will guide you, helping develop your knowledge and expertise while working in the field or independently, either remotely or in the office.

Primary Responsibilities

Initially, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing your understanding of elevator codes, technology, and industry requirements
  • Assisting with elevator inspections in the field
  • Creating inspection reports for clients
  • Participating in regular meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Contributing to project work commissioned by clients

Required Qualifications

You should possess a general knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and be comfortable learning and using various software/technologies. Related experience through summer or internship work terms is an asset.

What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary ($57,500 - $62,000), discretionary bonus/profit-sharing plan, group insurance benefits, group registered retirement savings plan with company contribution, paid vacation, maternity/parental leave top-up, and hybrid and remote work arrangements.
