Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cook to manage the preparation and presentation of meals in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and be able to multitask with ease. They will also possess strong communication skills, be a team player, and have a positive attitude towards working in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to recipes and menu specifications.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and ordering is done efficiently.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads.
