Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping and Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Boundary Trails Health Centre in Winkler, Manitoba. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness.
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks in all areas of the facility with a focus on general cleaning and sanitation.
  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, methods, and actions for unusual matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in industrial and/or commercial housekeeping.
  • A minimum Grade 10 education (Manitoba standard) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated verbal comprehension and written command of the English language.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle chemicals and cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills and ability to use software relevant to the position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle for occasional travel to other facilities.
Benefits
