About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Gurdeep Singh Sivia. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building and apartment complex.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hallways, floors, and stairs, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. Our office building and apartment complex are located in various locations, and you may be required to work at different sites.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
