About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Gurdeep Singh Sivia. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and other refuse.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Snow and Ice Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling as required.
Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, with minimal supervision.
