About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at J Mann Janitorial Services Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, including a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads. This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Workplace Information: Hybrid work arrangement, 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
